How long do The Panoramics play for?
The set is usually 2.5 hours long not including halftime break.

How many are in the band, and what instruments do you play?
We are a totally live four piece band.
Bass, Drums, and 2 Guitars. Two of us sing, and also use keyboards in some songs.

Do you travel outside of Dublin?
Yes. We travel nationwide, but it may incur extra costs. Sorry!

Where can we see you?
Sometimes (when we have the time!) we play showcase gigs in pubs, but usually it is possible to see us at a wedding somewhere. Contact us and we will send you an upcoming gigs list.

Do you need a deposit?
Yes. We require a €200 deposit to secure your date.
The deposit is non-refundable.

Do you offer a midweek discount?
Yes. We offer a discount for Sunday (apart from bank holidays), Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights.

How long does it take you to set up?
It takes about 40 minutes.

Can you set up before the meal?
Setup before the meal can be arranged for an extra fee, although in most cases it’s not necessary.
There is a natural gap after the meal and (long!) speeches, during which most guests will want to stretch their legs and hit the bar. This is when we take the opportunity to set up.

I'm worried that the music will be too loud, can you turn it down?
Yes. We are very careful about how loud we play. We try to aim all our sound at the dance floor, so that your guests elsewhere in the room don't have to shout to be heard.
Some guests can be very sensitive to any loud noise (an acoustic drum kit is quite loud by it's nature!), in which case they would be better off sitting further towards the rear of the room.
IIf you feel at any point that we are too loud, we will always turn down.

Can the band play our first dance?
We have a long list of first dance suggestions for you to choose from. However, if you would like us to play something that is not on our list, we will do our very best to learn it for you. We need at least 2 months notice of your song choice.

Do you play waltzes?
Yes. We usually play a few waltzes towards the start of the set.
If they are not your thing, however, we have no problem leaving them out!

Can I select the bands set list?
You can let us know if there are any songs in particular you really do or don't want us to play, but in general it is best to leave the music selection to us. Our job is to keep the dance floor full, and we know what works!

What is your dress code?
These days, we all wear black suits.

Do you let people get up and sing?
Yes. But only if its cleared with the Bride or Groom first!

Can you provide the DJ?
Yes. One of the band members can do the DJing as soon as the band finished for an extra fee. Don't worry, it’s not a mix CD!
We do as good a job as any professional DJ.

How long do you DJ for?
The DJ can play for as long as you like (for an appropriate fee) but 2am is the usual end time.

Can I pick a playlist for the DJ?
Yes. We encourage you to give us a list of songs you like, so we can incorporate them into the DJ set.
